The use of routed plastic signs is highly common due to their extreme durability and value oriented price. Using a laminated plastic, or high- density laminated polyethylene, signs are built to withstand even the harshest outdoor conditions. Ideally suited for use in wet areas that are regularly exposed to moisture.
Routed plastic signs include copy that is engraved into the center portion of the material, leaving a solid color exterior and the center color for the copy. Unlike other popular sign materials such as aluminum, granite, bronze or wood this process provides a sign which requires no painting, no refinishing and no oiling or staining.
